the queen mary is a liner in Long Beach, California, that was built in 1930 it was used in WWII as transport for troops and a hospital. This ship is supposed to be very haunted and guests that stay on board go on the ghost tour that they hold. for more info on the ship go to: http://hotels.about.com/od/hauntedhotelsca...ted_queenma.htm

I would have to say this is different to your normal haunted house or hotel/motel. I first heard about this a few years ago on TV by either Getaway or the Great Out Doors (aussie TV) not sure which on, but it was interesting.

Valcome my friends,

I would love to investigate a ship, train ,spaceship, elevator, or chicken coop
as long as it is spooked out.
For me the adventure and the experience is as important as a possible sighting.
Cemeteries themselves just don't seem freaky as they used to be.
Anyway ,laters

Yeh me to. When we made that list of 17 locations around Australia that we would like to investigate we never included a haunted ship.
Something maybe to think about for the future.

I think you guys would be quite suprised about where you can find haunted locations. Maybe not so much around Australia but around the world too. And they would all be freaky and scarey. I think it is a case of history that can play a big part, the older the location the more chance of it being classed as haunted, because more people would have died at the location. But then again it just depends on the location.

Hey,

I guess that it goes to prove that haunted can mean many different things.
And not always in a negative way. Ghosts need release from their state to move on. The unfinished business theory is as relevant as the idea that ghosts take time to realize they have died. Would either of you not consider a haunted location for any reason, and what would those reason's be/?

the only thing that would stop me from investigating a haunted location is not having the permission to enter the location. But other than that nothing would stop me, oh well except if i was by myself, that would be stupid, as you must always do this kind of stuff with others as it can be dangerous, and I don't mean ghosts harming you, i mean you can hurt yourself. And you need witnesses to all events, whats the good of seeing something or hearing something if you have no one to back it up.

That seems fair to me.

Everything that you have said I agree with.Anyway who's to say that someone else's bad experience will be yours as well.
