Has anybody every watched most haunted?
I would love to get some opinions where this show is concerned.
The main question is, do they stage some of their phenomenon. I believe they do. I have been an avid ghosthunter myself for many years and have never seen half the stuff they get on audio and video.
For an example of what i'm talking about, i was just watching an episode from season 8 last night and noticed a few peculiar things.
1. when Yevette asks questions to a ghost, the ghost seems to answer before she has even asked the entire question.

2. this is a funny one. How does the ghost/s know to knock twice for yes and once for no, before she gave instructions on how to answer them, this happens quite frequently on the show.

3. The taps they get on walls always seem to be the exact same sound, and almost in unison.

4. why is it when a table lifts in the air, they don't put the camera under the table to check if any body is moving or lifting it.

5. Their new psychic David Wells, i believe is much better then their old one Derek Accora, as my opinion of Derek was he was a damn fine actor.
David seems to be legitimate to an extent, but i am not entirely convinced.
For one i have never seen a psychic be as afraid he is alot of the time. He claims he has lived around the spirits his entire life, wouldn't you be used to it by now.

6. And Karl Yevette's fella, why is he the one who is always attacked by the ghost. On the episode i watched last night, he fainted and fell unconscious, why not other people in the crew. I think since Derek Accora was sacked they needed someone to fill the roll of a possession on film.

To summarize, i think most haunted is a great show, and that some of there paranormal experiences are real, but when they have a quite night, (which is very common when doing a paranormal investigation) i believe they put alot of stuff on.

If this thread hadn't been started already I would have started it! lol

I love the show and agree about derek Akorah (sp?) hes a fraud.

I did read somewhere that they set him up and leaked a name to him.

I can't remember the exact name but it was the letter from "Derek Faker" all mixed up. Kreed Keafer or something or other. He "left" the show not long after.

I do believe a lot of it is set up. I think they play "tricks" on the some of the crew members. Meaning the person that is experiencing it is thinking its really happening.

I think david wells is legit though. The stuff he gets is probably the "realest" part of the show.

hahaha i'm glad someone agree's with me on this topic.
I totally agree mass hysteria they call it, when one person is scared the rest follow. A common problem when on a paranormal investigation, and i am certain that most haunted know this.
They do have a lot more crew that you never see on film that could be the ones possibly staging the phenomena.

As for Derek Akorah i didn't know that. I heard he was busted for drink driving and most haunted had to get rid of him to keep their reputation.

Yes David Wells is very good, he is very descriptive, i wish i had a medium on my investigations with his abilities.

I to have to agree with you both. I am so glad they got rid of Derk, but I am unsure about the parapsychologist they have now. Jason was good in regards to explaining equipment and their uses, and he set up controlled areas where paranormal activity has supposed to happen. Where this other one doesn't do that, but he does rule out all possiblities before classing it as paranormal.
